The Saratoga Monument is a rock-faced granite obelisk that 155 1/2 feet tall, with Gothic and Egyptian styled elements.  Monument is on a high bluff upon the grounds of Burgoyne's last camp and overlooks the Hudson River.  It is also only about 1000 feet from American Legion Old Saratoga Post 278.
